It takes a certain kind of nutball to hop on a fixed gear, brakeless track bike and race alongside some of the fastest cats out there. The race course is anything but easy, with tough technical components and imminent crashes waiting to claim riders at every turn. Catching moments of stillness and athleticism in motion was my goal but perhaps my favorite photo is the last one of the bunch, which shows what 90% of the shots from that day looked like.
